Abstract	The purpose of these article is to show from the analysis and study of the industrial sector, the degree of entrepreneurship and the influence of the surroundings, in the sprouting, development or disappearance of the companies of industrial type, having the creation of companies as departure point, as pole of growth for the economic and social development, by the generation of use and new jobs that are originated. This work is important for the knowledge of the enterprise history of the industrial sector in the department of Magdalena, since our interest is to motivate the investigation the real causes of its slow industrial development and to stimulate the creation of companies of this type.
