| Abstract | The development process of in-vehicle spoken dialog systems (SDS) is characterized by intensive cooperation of different parties. Voice user interface designers specify the system requirements which are then implemented by integration experts. Therefore adequate specification formats are an important factor for the development process. Because the complexity of SDS quickly increases, new formats are of interest. Specification formats strongly influence the possibilities of specification and the quality of the final product and should be therefore based on the requirements and challenges. The aim of the paper is to outline the requirements of the modelling in-vehicle SDS and to explore the challenges that follow, such as specifying natural language input. Author |
