| Abstract | The Mato Grosso do Sul state is in confluence with a major weather systems in South America and more than one type of rainfall, thus obtaining important in studies that emphasize spatial and temporal distribution of rainfall in the state. Aiming to analyze the seasonal variation of rainfall in the Mato Grosso do Sul state, there was a study of spatial and temporal variability of rainfall. We used monthly mean seasonal and annual precipitation series of historical rainfall data obtained from the National Hydrometeorological Network of Brazil. The interpolation model used was the Top to Raster. The statistic used to calculate the average rainfall for the time period of 30 years, needed to calculate the rainfall anomaly index, which serves to classify periods of dry or wet years according to the local average. Results are presented as the spatial, temporal and seasonal rains. Key-words: Pluviometry, Spatialization of rainfall, pluviometric precipitation. |
