| Abstract | Gliosarcoma is a very rare pathology almost exclusively seen in the supratentorial space, with a bad prognosis and limited response to other treatment modalities. This is a case presentation of a patient with a lesion of the cerebellopontine angle initially diagnosed as a meningioma, however further investigation with inmunohistochemistry techniques showed two components, a gliomatous and a sarcomatous. To our knowledge there are only three cases in the literature. It is noted to the best of the medical practice in Neurosurgery the complete analysis of the lesion including inmuno-histochemical assays. |
