Abstract	This paper presents the results of the research process of composting for three types of biological waste: tomato pulp, carrot pulp and apple pulp. The test was conducted in a specially constructed adiabatic bioreactors with appropriate sensors and controlled system of aeration. In order to obtain adequate porosity the mentioned waste was mixed with rye straw in the same proportions. Energy calculations presenting the ability to recover surplus energy were carried out without effect on the quality of the composting process. The best result was obtained with composting the mixture with tomato pulp – 3386.1 kJ·kg.
