| Abstract | The research, titled, Pedagogical Content Knowledge in the training of the teachers in the programme of standard education with emphasis on Natural Sciences and Environmental education that belongs to the The University Corporation of Caribbean -CECAR. Drawn up as objetive the determination of the the degree of implementation of the Pedagogical Content Knowledge- PDK paradigm, in the training of the teachers in the programme of standard education with emphasis on natural sciences and environmental education that belong to The University Corporation of Caribbean –CECAR.This research is also seeking to strengthen the learning of specific knowledge and the appropriation of scientific thought.Starting with a pilot that was made to the students and teachers in VII, VIII and IX Semester, it was determined that the methodology that has been used should be one where we could analyse situations and behaviors. That is y it became convenient to use the qualitative approach, which allowed us to develop a series of activities that let us conclude that both students and teachers hae a large deficit in relation to the integrated management of pedagogical content knowledge, because the traditionalism approach is still the most important and the educational cycle continues being seen in a vertical way. This type of study has been done from different investigations as Briceno Garcia Parga and Grossman who once sought to make an identification of the characteristics of learning that teachers in training have on specific knowledge of different areas in terms of the dynamic use of the Pedagogical Content Knowledge. |
