Abstract	This paper aims to demonstrate that the legal princ i le of self-defense, justification of a typical no criminal offense, it may be appropriate for those who find themselves attacked by a culpable offense. The foun dation of self-defense finds support in the principle that the right is not in a positio n to give in to injustice. The defense preserves individual protection and maintenance of the legal order. It is a right of the person and is provided in Article No. 34 paragraphs 6 and 7 of the Argentine Criminal Code. This article include in one of its legal budg ets, unlawful violence without distinction whether it should be intentional or rec kl ss character, causing discussion among lawyers. It is therefore necessary to examine the doctrinal positions controvert about with their respective interpretations to reac h conclusion on the case at hand.
