| Abstract | En espanol Sin dudas la creacion de la Corte Penal Internacional en la Conferencia de Roma de 1998 ha sido un importante progreso para la realizacion del Derecho Internacional Publico. Su elementos esenciales quedan expuestos en el presente trabajo, que se centra en la compleja relacion que se establecera entre la Corte y los Estados por un lado, y entre la Corte y el Consejo de Seguridad de las Naciones Unidas por el otro, una vez que esta comience a funcionar. En ingles Undoubtedly, the creation of the International Criminal Court at the 1998 Conference of Rome, has represented an important progress in the realization of International Public Law. This article presents the main features of the Court, and focuses on the complex relations that it will establish with the States, on the one hand, and with the United Nations' Security Council, on the other, once it commences to function. |
