Abstract	RESUMEN: El presente estudio identificó las principales variables de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) que la Población Económicamente Activa (PEA) destaca en las empresas textiles de la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador, pudiendo aportar a la competitividad de la industria. El enfoque metodológico fue cuantitativo y cualitativo. Los hallazgos revelaron tres ejes vitales para la ciU000xdada;nía acerca de la RSE; aportar positivamente a la comunidad, promover el cuidado ambiental y velar por un ambiente laboral justo. Palabras clave: Responsabilidad social, empresas, percepción ABSTRACT: The present study identified the main variables of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that the Economically Active Population (PEA) stands out in the textile companies of the city of Cuenca-Ecuador, being able to contribute to the competitiveness of the industry. The methodological approach was quantitative and qualitative. The findings revealed three vital axes for citizenship about CSR; contribute positively to the community, promote environmental care and ensure a fair work environment.
