| Abstract | Este articulo integra meta-analisis y revisiones sobre regulacion del estado de animo y de las emociones en general y en el area laboral. Se estima el tamano del efecto de las formas de regulacion en relacion a la balanza de afectos o bienestar afectivo a partir de cinco meta-analisis. La sintesis de meta-analisis torna posible concluir que las estrategias que permiten mejorar el estado de animo, aumentar emociones positivas y disminuir negativas tanto en auto como en la hetero-regulacion, son, la modificacion de la situacion, el apoyo emocional, la distraccion y aceptacion, la reevaluacion positiva, la regulacion fisiologica activa y expresion regulada. Son disfuncionales el aislamiento social, el abandono psicologico, el pensamiento desiderativo, la reevaluacion negativa, la rumiacion, la supresion emocional y la confrontacion. La rumiacion en algunos estudios es funcional, asociandose a la re-evaluacion. La confrontacion en ocasiones es adaptativa, porque se asocia a la expresion regulada y a la asertividad... This article describes meta-analyses and narratives review with regards to regulation of mood and emotions, in general and in the organizational domain. Effect sizes of the association between affect strategies and affect balance or emotional well-being were estimated using five meta-analyses. The synthesis of these meta-analyses suggests that the functional strategies in auto- and hetero-regulation that help to enhance mood, increase positive affects, and decrease negative affects include problem-directed action, seeking emotional social support, distraction and acceptance, reappraisal, active physiological regulation, and regulated emotional expression. Dysfunctional strategies include withdrawal, social isolation, wishful thinking, negative reevaluation, rumination, emotional suppression, venting and confrontation. Rumination is functional in some studies, being associated with reevaluation. Confrontation is sometimes adaptive, being associated with regulated expression and assertiveness... Este artigo congrega meta-analises com revisoes relativas a regulacao do estado de ânimo sobre as emocoes, em geral e, mais especificamente, emocoes no âmbito do trabalho. Estima-se o tamanho do efeito das formas de regulacao em relacao aos afetos ou bem-estar afetivo, a partir de cinco meta-analises. As sinteses das meta-analises torna possivel concluir que as estrategias que permitem melhorar o estado de ânimo, aumentar as emocoes positivas e diminuir as negativas, tanto na auto como na heterorregulacao, sao a modificacao da situacao, o apoio emocional, a distracao e a aceitacao, a reavaliacao positiva, a regulacao fisiologica ativa e a expressao regulada. Sao disfuncionais o isolamento social, o abandono psicologico, a reavaliacao negativa, a ruminacao, a supressao emocional e a confrontacao. A ruminacao, em alguns estudos, e funcional, estando associada a reavaliacao. A confrontacao em certas ocasioes e adaptativa porque se associa a expressao regulada e a assertividade... |
