Abstract	OZET : Ataturk Universitesi Ziraat Fakultesi Ciftliginde yetistirilen Esmer sigirlarin sut verimindeki genetik yonelimi tahmin etmek amaciyla, 1985-1994 yillari arasinda yetistirilmis olan 237 Esmer inege ait 546 laktasyon kaydi analiz edilmistir. Surude 305 gunluk sut verimi ortalamasi, 2764 ± 39 kg olarak gerceklesmistir. Sut veriminde saglanan cevresel yonelimi tahmin icin ayni hayvanlarin birbirini izleyen verimleri kullanilmistir. Esmer sigir surusunde sut verimindeki fenotipik, cevresel ve genetik yonelimler sirasiyla 124.28, 37.42 ve 86.86 kg/yil olarak belirlenmistir. GENETIC AND PHENOTYPIC TRENDS IN THE MILK YIELD OF BROWN SWISS CATTLE REARED IN THE RESEARCH FARM OF AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE AT ATATURK UNIVERSITY SUMMARY : Five hundred fortysix lactation records of 237 Brown Swiss cattle were analysed in order to estimate the genetic trend in the milk yield of Brown Swiss cattle reared in the Research Farm of Agricultural College at Ataturk University between 1985 and 1994. Average 305-days milk yield were found as 2764 ± 39 kg. The subsequent production records of dairy cattle were used to estimate the environmental trend in the milk yield. The phenotypic, environmental and genetic trends in the milk yield for the Brown Swiss herd were computed as 124.28, 37.42 and 86.86 kg/year respectively.
