| Abstract | It is described in the present text a proposal for teaching Thermodynamics at the high school level. The proposal is elaborated within the context of the general education model of the IEMS-GDF (Instituto de Educacion Media Superior del Gobierno del Distrito Federal, de la Ciudad de Mexico). The Project is based on four main approaches: epistemological, meaningful learning, constructivism, and science, technology and society. The Project will be put into practice during the Physics Course I in IEMS, where its results will be compared with the traditional method of teaching Thermodynamics, concerning knowledge acquisition, skills and attitudes. The comparison of results will be between control groups subjected to this approach and the groups under the traditional way of teaching. |
