| Abstract | This paper mainly studies the background difference method in the field of intelligent traffic, proposes a background modeling method base on frame difference, and compares it with the statistical average background model and Gaussian distribution background modeling method. Vehicle contour obtained by the morphological method. Finally, experiments were carried out on 4 normal road traffic surveillance videos, the effective detection rate used in this paper reaches 93.75%, which has a certain degree of application.
