| Abstract | Due to the scarcity of resources and increasing participation in the international arena, the Brazilian Navy wonders: “How to comply with the organizational mission in the present and also be prepared for what is to come?”. In this context, where one must “do more with increasingly less”, an ambitious Strategic Plan was drawn up for the time interval 2014-2019, by the Brazilian Navy Supply Board. The purpose of this work is to present how the strategies for the Navy Supply System, contained in the document, align the Lean Thinking. The methodology deepened the analysis of ostentatious document, drawn up by the organization, and involves literature searches. The results indicate that the naval administration is consistent with the principles of Lean Thinking. It is concluded that the Naval Force preaches constant search for process improvements and mitigation of waste for a good care of their present responsibilities and the scope of future vision. |
