Este articulo analiza las modalidades del rayo en la literatura de tradicion oral de grupos indigenas de Chiapas desde una perspectiva hermeneutica de la cultura. Explica los cambios donde el rayo se asocia a la tradicion autoctona y aloctona contemporanea. Este es parte de la imaginacion simbolica; es una entidad divina o bien un elemento atmosferico que esta en los procesos cosmicos de la vida-muerte. Ademas, es generador de conocimiento que une la bipolaridad de la estructura del mundo indigena. Esta investigacion se aborda desde una perspectiva cualitativa, haciendo uso de fuentes primarias para el analisis. Abstract. This article analyzes the lightning in the literature of oral tradition of indigenous groups in Chiapas from a hermeneutic perspective of culture. Explain the changes where the lightning is associated with the native tradition and contemporary aloctona. This is part of the symbolic imagination; it is a divine or an atmospheric element that is in the cosmic processes of life-death entity. Furthermore, it is generating knowledge that unites the bipolarity of the structure of the indigenous world. This research is approached from a qualitative perspective, using primary sources for analysis.
