| Abstract | In order to achieve profit and growth, companies need to operate with augmented agility due to this they depend more on Information Technology (IT). The management of Information Technology (IT) requires a strategic vision that strikes balance between the IT opportunities and IT business requirements. ERP is essentially an integrated software system consisting of multi-module applications and a common database. The lack of SME’s experience in ERP, large amount of ERP providers on the market and the integration of business with ERP systems become barriers for SME’s. The study aims to find out the impact of ERP systems in Garment manufacturing and exporters cluster in Tirupur, on the vision for an integration of business with ERP systems. As a part of the pilot study, the sample data were collected by using a structured questionnaire from a target population of 1900 firms registered with Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) through mixed mode survey (e-mail and field survey). R-Package was used for data analysis and tools like polychoric correlation and factor analysis were adopted. The results from the study supports the relationships hypothesized.
