| Abstract | Nowadays, the use of information technology is often applied in healthcare. Regarding to scientific research, there is SINPE © “Integrated System Electronic Protocols”. This tool aims to support the researcher in this area considering until now had no use of statistical tests. The main objective of this work is provide users SINPE © improving the analysis of data collected through the use of statistical tests. The four specific objectives are: verify users' interest towards the implementation of the tests; then search the frequency of use of this in health; in the sequence, carry out the implementation and finally, validate the results with the researchers and their protocols. In the implementation phase there was a group of users of the system to assess the interest for the use of statistical tests and the conclusion is there was acceptance. The tests “Chi-square”, “Mann-Whitney”, “Fisher's exact” and “t-Student” were identified as the most widely used in scientific work in healthcare in the context of this research. These methods were implemented and subsequently approved as expected. After completion of these four steps was possible conclude that the main objective was achieved. |
