| Abstract | The current status of citrus pest management in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Citrus are the most economically important fruit crop in the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico. The citrus rust mite, Phyllocoptruta oleivora Ashmead, is the commonest primary pest. Fifty-four species (48 insects, 6 mites) have been recorded as potencial pests. Forty-four species of parasitoids (Hymenoptera) and 15 of predators (Coleoptera, Diptera, Neuroptera and Phytoseiidae) have been collected. We comment on the current status of the main pests. |
