| Abstract | Currently government institutions do not have an integrated safety and health management system in place, nor certified professionals to manage it, leaving this responsibility to the human resource department. That is the reason why we are going to analyze the process of implementing a system to manage the safety and health of the workforce in the government agencies, based on the SART system. The SART system will be used as the management model, then the requirements will be verified against the activities for ensuring compliance, and finally project management tools will be applied too for standardizing the implementation process in public institutions. In order to verify timelines, cost and quality involved during the implementation and standardization process, several government agencies currently using or in the process of implementing their safety and health management system will also be used as benchmarking. As part of the project, high project management concepts such as PMI and Prince will be used to track the time and resources involved during the implementation, as well as the team responsible for the correct execution. |
