| Abstract | This work aims to provide a proposal for the construction of an inverted pendulum teaching kit, which is a well known problem in the area of control and automation due to the intrinsic instability of the problem. This teaching kit was supposed to be low cost, trying to reuse materials. The mathematical model of the system was developed, as well as the validation of this model through Simulink®. This work details the construction of the kit from scrap material from an inkjet printer. The kit was later validated using Simulink®. In this work a controller was also designed in the state space suitable for the kit. |
