| Abstract | The precast concrete structures have a trend to be more modular and standarded, therefore the optimization technique can produce more benefits due the mass production. Among the optimization techniques used in structural engineering, the GA have been recognized as an excellent tool, due the easy implementation and the good results obtained. This paper deal with an integrated optimization for multistory precast concrete building using GA and minimizing the cost function. The main goal is to present a formulation for the floor optimization based on the architectural, structural and construction requirements, considering all the aspect as manufacturing and assembly. |
