| Abstract | The article deals with study of thermal processes in the casting – sand mould system. The current measuring equipment developed at the Department of Metallurgy was applied for measuring of the thermal conditions in the system: iron casting sand mould. Experimentally measured temperatures in sand mould (250 x 250 x 260 mm) and in the thermal axis of the iron casting (∅ 40 x 200 mm) were compared with temperature field parallel simulated by professional assembled software at the identical material, size and initial conditions. |
