In too many cases, no price differential exists, despite the fact that e-commerce supposedly represents a more efficient distribution mechanism. The primary value-added offered by e-commerce merchants is often represented by a combination of better information, greater selection and increased convenience. There is no question that these are all important attributes when making a purchasing decision. But is this the big revolution that we have all been waiting for? Hardly. |
