| Abstract | This paper presents the theoretical concepts which inspired the conception of a remote real time decision support system. Our purpose is to find a way to help any end user in his decision process, that is, any decision maker working on different problematics. When should we take action? Should we help the decision maker analyse or solve his problem? Our main contribution lies in the answer to this specific question: as regards the end user, when and how should we intervene in individual decision process? The general context is that of marketing information system is likely to interest people working on the direct interactive marketing field. This work fits the perspective of real time management, for which the scientific community shows an increasing interest. |
