| Abstract | The economic activities of any productive sector have the potential to generate investment, employment and economic growth. Also, they have effects on non-economic areas in society, human rights among them. One of these activities is floriculture in the south of the State of Mexico that from its beginning it generated economic, social and environmental effects. For therefore part, when human rights are fulfilled, it is said that citizen security is achieved. The objective of this research is to identify the violated human rights that generate citizen insecurity related to floriculture activity. The background research review focuses on the identification of human rights related to citizen security with the purpose to obtain the human rights that are frequently violated in floriculture, either inside or outside the productive units. Individual and collective human rights are part of the security of everyone, where the State is responsible for its compliance. The enjoyment of citizen security is an essential factor to have access to quality of life (Curbet, 2007). The methodology consists of the reviewing literature that identifies human rights relate to economic activities, in this way, human rights violations in floriculture are determined. The results show that the human rights violations inside the productive units, are related to the work exercise, such as the right to social security, work on equitable conditions, freedom of expression and association. While outside the productive units there are human rights violations of adequate standard of living and economic, social and cultural satisfaction. It is concluded that human rights inside and outside the productive units are being violated which generates citizen insecurity. |
