Abstract	The article discusses the axiological potentials of Marti's work for the development of aesthetic education. It presents a systematic study of the major aesthetic approaches and analysis of its unique projection in order to fulfil this objective. Based on the study of Marti's work and by following the approach of his t literary and artistic criticism, the author synthesized ideas which are integrated as core concepts of the Aesthetic Martian Thought, thus becoming essential pillars for the development of aesthetic education. In correspondence to the analysis, a methodology was developed which has been applied in pre-university education centers in the province and in the program Introduction to Teaching in the Basic Training Course of Pedagogical Sciences University "Jose de la Luz y Caballero."
