| Abstract | The challenge to implement a Meltshop at Simara Steel Plant, located in Maraba - PA, using financial and engineering resources in a strategic and rational base, became possible the development of a simulation model, with a friendly interface of the data entries and analysis results. The model allows carrying out the synchronism of melt shop processes. Its use becomes possible to point out eventual bottleneck, dead time and presentation of the production targets, changing equipment and production process parameters. This work presents a tool that assists in the analysis of the main interference of the melt shop, creating conditions to take decision in function of the preset contour conditions and the alternatives that make possible profitable processes. |
