Abstract	Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya keberanian siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Sidoluhur Kecamatan Ambal pada pembelajaran meroda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keberanian dalam meroda siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Sidoluhur Kecamatan Ambal melalui pendekatan bermain. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Sidoluhur Kecamatan Ambal berjumlah 35 orang terdiri atas 16 siswa perempuan dan 19 siswa laki-laki. Instrumen penelitian, yaitu: rubrik penilaian keberanian siswa dalam meroda. Analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Indikator keberhasilan, yaitu keberanian siswa minimal sebanyak 75% dari total siswa tuntas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keberanian siswa dalam melakukan gerakan meroda melalui pendekatan bermain meningkat, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil tingkat keberanian siswa dalam melakukan meroda pada siklus I pertemuan pertama sebesar 51,43% kemudian meningkat pada pertemuan kedua yaitu sebesar 77,14%, maka maka penelitian dikatakan berhasil, tetapi masih ada delapan anak yang belum meningkat keberaniannya dalam melakukan gerakan meroda, namun karena jam tatap muka senam habis, maka tidak dilanjutkan pada siklus berikutnya. Kata kunci : keberanian, senam lantai meroda, pendekatan bermain Abstract The base of this research is because of the lack of “meroda” ability of student’s in grade 4 of SDN 2 Sidoluhur in Ambal subdistric. The result of this research is to improve the grade 4 students’s of SDN 2 Sidoluhur ability in “meroda” session by “pendekatan bermain” method. This research is kind of PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) research which is the researcher have to directly observe in the class. The subject of this research are 35 students that consist of 16 girls and 19 boys in grade 4 of Elementary School in SDN 2 Sidoluhur the subdistrict of Ambal. The instrument of this research is the brave column assessment in doing “meroda”. The researcher is use deskriptif kuantitatif kind of research wich the result of research is shows in percentage. Success indicator in this research is when 75% of students are able to do “meroda” bravely and correctly. Deskriptif kualitatif technique and kuantitatif technique are the data analysis techniques that use in this research. The result of this research shows that the brave of students in “meroda” session by using playing approach method are successfully increase. In first cycle at first meeting the brave of students are increase up to 51, 43 %. Then the second meeting the students’s brave have increase up to 77,14%, so this result is success suitable with the success indicator of this research. There are still 8 students (22,86 %) who still not brave enough to do “meroda”. They could be brave in the next session meeting but the meeting session is over, so “meroda” class not be continue again. Keywords : brave, “meroda” gym floor, playing approach
