| Abstract | The following paper is the result of research conducted by the authors as a part of the Michigan State University, Institute for Public Policy and Social Research, Applied Public Policy Program. Specifically many findings were the result of a survey of economic development professionals conducted in 2009 in the middle of the economic/ financial crisis of that year. The first section describes the changing paradigm of public-private partnerships. The second section discusses publicprivate partnerships and the financial crisis. Part three describes the methodology of the study and the fourth part gives results of the survey. The last section provides a summary and conclusion. |
