| Abstract | From a qualitative study based on implementation and analysis of interviews, this article aims to meet, through visions of academics, the importance and the role of historical and philosophical approach to science in the current design of Pedagogical Sciences degree course in biological, Federal University of Sergipe St. Kitts campus. It is emphasized and shared by respondents the need for more targeted promotion of the recognition and feasibility of this approach in its ongoing discussions.
