| Abstract | Telecom sector is widely growing and substantially contributing to the GDP of Pakistan. This study was conducted to investigate the impact of HRM practices on perceived organizational performance. Total six HRM practices such as training, performance appraisal, job definition, compensation, selection, career planning, were taken as independent variables while perceived organizational performance as dependent variable. Through questionnaire survey a response of 223 employees working in different telecom organizations were collected, which showed that HRM practices are being implemented and the key contributor to the enhanced organizational performance in the telecom sector while training and selection were found significantly related with perceived organizational performance. Managerial implications and conclusions are presented based upon these results. |
