| Abstract | Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze different foot type in a young population and its relation to pathologies of the forefoot and other factors as age and sex. Material and Methods: we conducted a descriptive study of 103 participants and determined the foot type and the presence of digital deformity. Results: We can say in our studied population, that the most common foot type is the Egyptian and the Greek is the less common. The digital pathology has an incidence of 46.15%. Quintus varus is the most common digital alteration and is related to the Square foot, and the tailor's bunion, seems to be significantly present in Greek foot more than in the Square foot. It notes that women are the most affected by digital pathologies. Conclusions: These data could be used by the podiatrist who may consider them in performing specific treatments that promote foot health and wellness. |
