Abstract	In the present investigation the purpose was to determine the relationship between social skills and oral communication in the second grade students of the Los Olivos district I.E. Pq San Vicente Ferrer, 2018. The type of research was basic descriptive level, quantitative approach; non-experimental design. The population was comprised of 179 students, the sample was 123 and the type of sampling is not probabilistic intentional. The technique that took place is the survey, instruments are of type questionnaire and checklist for oral communication. Whose instruments were validated by experts, at the same time its reliability was determined through statistical KR 20: in the social skills that it demonstrates 0.88, strong reliability and oral communication which shows 0.77 a forte reliability. Also concluded according to Spearman's Rho, where the value of the correlation coefficient is (r = 0.500) indicating a correlation positive moderate, in addition the value of p = 0.000 is less at the p = 0.05 and thus the relationship is significant at the 95% and is rejected l to the null hypothesis (Ho) assuming that there is relationship between social skills and oral communication in second grade students of the I.E.Pq. San Vicente Ferrer of the Los Olivos district, 2018.
