| Abstract | Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is a phone technology that allows a computer to detect voice and touch tones using a normal phone call. It responds by pre-recorded or dynamically generated audio to further direct callers how to proceed. The examples are televoting, customer call center, and telephone banking. This paper discusses the design and implementation of an IVR application for student service in a university, with Satya Wacana Christian University (SWCU) as the example. Information given is Grade Point Average (GPA) and student billing. This application is developed using Visual Basic.NET with Telephony Application Programming Interface for utilizing phone capabilities from application. |
