Abstract	The aim of this article is to determine the changes happened in the socio-occupational structure of Nuble province in the period between 1992 and 2002 censuses. In order toachieve this purpose the functionalist notion was used considering the behavior of the population economically active in the interior of the occupational structure. The design corresponds to a quantitative study of descriptive longitudinal type based on secondary information. The most relevant result shows that the Nuble province has undergone a changein the occupational category in the 1992-2002 inter census period pointing out an importanttransformation in the economically active population.
