| Abstract | This qualitative study investigated the challenges that are faced by entrepreneurs living with physical disabilities in the Sebokeng Township of South Africa and the objectives were to pinpoint and recommend solutions for the challenges. The researchers collected qualitative data through semi-structured interviews, focus groups and observations. The challenges identified as impediments to entrepreneurs living with physical disabilities comprise lack of education and training, lack of access to finance, inadequate government support and lack of equipment. Recommendations were made for entrepreneurs living with physical disabilities and the government of South Africa. Lastly future research directions were clearly enunciated. |
