| Abstract | The following summary is for showing the development of the aquaculture industry in the area of Ayalán, province of the Guayas, canton General Villamil de Playas. It explains the general conditions of the area concerning infrastructure, access ways, social economical situation of the surrounding towns weather conditions and types of soils It makes an account of the evolution of the area from its beginnings until the present changes in the production, proprietors, types of cultures, technical infrastructure, products used in process of culture of the crustacean, the existing changes in the type of larva for the cultures and the reasons of the change. As well as the social and economic impact that this industry has given to a national level and the relations with different industries that participate in the production process. In the end, we gave our technical proposals for improvements in the culture process, the conclusions and recommendations that are had been doing and is important to maintain them, since they are processes of certification, imposed by the government, to be able to maintain and to differentiate the quality of our product in international markets. |
