| Abstract | Current technology involves or does converge multiple protocols on a network, of which for the project has emphasized WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) based on the transport of multiple streams of information, each encoded by a single fiber. In this manner has increased the capacity of the fiber optic network. WDM reduces the installation costs of optical fiber, having a greater capacity than other technologies that can carry multiple wavelengths in a single fiber, it being necessary to implement a smaller number of fibers having a backbone for supporting the new access network WiFi. |
