| Abstract | The following article focuses on the issue of egalitarianism in education as one of the paradigms in scientific area referred to the study of komenology. The problem is presented and discussed on the basis of three thematic aspects: the outline of social background which influenced egalitarian views of Jan Amos Komensky; desire to reform the world found in egalitarian views of J.A. Komenski and egalitarianism in education as a science paradigm in the area of komenology. Deliberations on the issue lead to generalization of ideas suggesting that komenology should become a scientific area which needs to be explored in greater depth, supported by further interpretation, drawing conclusions for our reality while extending the area of scientific research and pragmatic arrangements. |
