Abstract	The present research work called VIRU DISTRICT TOURIST CONDITIONS FOR THE DESIGN OF A NON-CONVENTIONAL TOURISM ROUTE. It allowed to recognize: the tourist resources in operation, the accessibility and current tourist plant, the superstructure and the potential tourists as tourist conditions of the district of Viru for the design of an unconventional tourism route. Generating as results that Viru has a considerable tourism potential, since tourism resources are being developed consciously by implementing unconventional tourist itineraries, in addition to the Trujillo road network to the Viru support center, as well as the numerous transportation companies that facilitate the mobilization of the tourist. In this way, tourism demand was interested in this new form of tourism as they would practice various non-conventional activities. On the other hand, the tourist plant that Viru holds is equipped and provides an adequate service to the visitor. With this contribution, it seeks to directly benefit the virunera community, service providers and indirectly to tourists who would enjoy a diversified offer. The methodology used was based on the following methods; Ethnographic method, which was used to collect data on tourism resources in operation, current tourist facilities, superstructure and accessibility in the field stage. In addition, the expectations and interests of the potential demand were identified. And the Analytical - Synthetic Method, which allowed to update the inventory of tourist resources in operation and / or of greater preponderance, also served to know the current status of access, as well as to transport companies that operate at the provincial level. Also, I help to identify the existing tourist plant and evaluate its infrastructure, equipment and service; which together allowed us to establish if the Viru district has the tourist conditions for the design of a non-conventional tourism route.
