Abstract	RESUMO Este artigo busca apresentar uma reflexao sobre os avancos e retrocessos da Politica de Saude no contexto das Organizacoes do Terceiro Setor. Os resultados do estudo, se desenvolveram no processo de estagio curricular obrigatorio em Servico Social, que deu origem ao TCC com o debate relacionado a politica de saude no contexto do terceiro setor. Para analise e conclusao do tema definiu-se como objetivo analisar os avancos e retrocessos da politica de saude no contexto do terceiro setor. Para tanto, foi necessario desenvolver uma pesquisa qualitativa com abordagem exploratoria. Como resultado, compreende-se que a Saude tem passado por diversas mudancas no decorrer da historia, assim como as instituicoes que prestam servicos voltados para esta politica, o terceiro setor que alem de buscar atendar as demandas relacionadas a Saude, complementa os servicos prestados pelo Estado, alem de disponibilizar novos espacos socio ocupacionais para os Assistentes Sociais. Palavras-Chave: Politica de Saude; Terceiro Setor; Servico Social. ABSTRACT The following paper discusses Health Policy advancements and setbacks within Third Sector Organizations. The results were obtained throughout the compulsory Social Service program internship that was the base for the program final paper related to the third sector health policy. For the topic analysis and conclusion, it was decided that the objective was to analyze the health policy advances and setbacks within the third sector. Therefore, it was necessary to set a qualitative research with an exploratory approach. It is accepted that Health has been gone through several changes in history as well as the institutions that follow such policy. Health institutions within the third sector not only seek to meet the Health needs, but complement the services offered by the State as well as to make available new professional areas for social workers.
