| Abstract | Metallic lattice structures manufactured using selective laser melting (SLM) are widely used in fields such as the aerospace and automobile industries in order to save material and reduce energy consumption. An essential element of metallic lattice structures design is determining the ir mechanical behaviors under loading conditions. This paper focuses on the investigation of the mechanical properties of three typical structures fabricated via SLM, and the theoretical analysis of the elastic properties of these three cube-based lattice structures using the force method. The finite element analysis (FEA) and compression experiment study of SLM samples made using Ti6Al4V powders demonstrated the validity of the proposed analytical method. |
