| Abstract | During the neo-conservatism in Mendoza (1932-1943), a series of projects aimed at granting greater professional status to the health system through the creation of training spaces were promoted. From this, the present research focuses on the creation of the Mixed School of Nurses of 1942, and analyzes the characteristics of the projects that gave rise to it, the foundations of the professionalization of the occupation, continuities and differences between the different proposals, and finally the model to be implemented in the province. On the other hand, we dialogue with other researches about the recipients of this type of education, as well as aspects such as the occupation of hierarchical positions, organization, study plans, stereotypes of students, etc. We will also learn about the first results regarding the training of human resources and the institutional changes that took place during the first Peronism. |
