Abstract	The aim of this End-of-Degree Project is to analyze the Alternative Investment Market (MAB), considering the possible determinants of its firms’ performance. The MAB stands as an alternative funding mechanism for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), while it provides an objective assessment of the company and liquidity to investors. In order to verify these advantages of market entry, the econometric analysis of 20 of his companies, for the period 1989-2013 is carried out. The result show that the performance obtained by each firm increase if their ownership structure is more concentrated, the higher the time listed is, and the higher the previous performance is. The sector in which it operates is also relevant, obtaining higher performance those firms dedicated to trade and less those dedicated to food and drinks, electronic and software, engineering and other services.
