| Abstract | In what corresponds to the present investigation, in the project of design and implementation of a mobile application to alert an emergency of vulnerable people in a smartphone, it is important to mention that through these devices incidents of robberies can be reported to all people in general (elderly people, special abilities, etc.), as well as their accidents for the security officer and for a platform hosted on a web server through the use of web services from the device. The emergency alert is activated by the user by two methods: the first, crushing the panic button on the main screen of the mobile application and the second, using the physical buttons of the smartphone, in this case, the key to upload the volume. Once the user performs any of the two actions, the following will be obtained: 1. An alert with the basic information of the user will be sent to the web server with the following data: user (name, identification, blood type and disability), emergency contact, date and time of the alert and, finally, its location GPS. 2. An email will be sent to the emergency contact or security officer, whose content is the data of the person in danger as well as their location. 3. And finally, a video will be recorded automatically, which will be stored on a Firebase storage server. |
