This study aims to examine, in the light of doctrinal understanding, if the principle of jurisdictional adequacy present in Law 13.105/15 will have applicability within the labor procedural law. In a qualitative approach, through a literature review, this study is based on the authors, Didier Junior (2015), Brandão and Mallet (2015), Nery Junior and Nery (2015), amongst others. The study revealed that despite the dissatisfaction within the magistracy with the Law 13.105/15 in relation to the prerogatives of the magistrates, the principle of adequacy finds no obstacle in its applicability to the labor process, and should only be taken into account the limits imposed by the principles guiding the work process and articles 769 of the Consolidation of Labor Laws and article 15 of Law 13.105/15.
