Dentre as variaveis independentes estudadas, idade, cor, estado civil, escolaridade, habito etilico, abortamento previo, paridade, menopausa, gestacao, vulvovaginite, menarca e metodo contraceptivo apresentaram p ? 0,05, nao sendo considerados factores associados as lesoes cervicais. Introduction: the importance of knowing and being able to identify the factors associated with lesions caused by HPV in the cervix, thus strengthening the leading role in the management of a disease with features of transmission, prevention and guidance would be populated in order to reduce its prevalence. Objectives: correlate possible factors associated with histopathological changes of HPV-induced cervical biopsies, performed in Maternal and Child Clinic of the Medical School of the University of Southern Santa Catarina. Methods: an observational cross-sectional in 67 histopathologic results of cervix biopsies. The data were described and their associations were analyzed with the chi-square and the prevalence ratio. Results: of the 67 histopathological studies of biopsies of the cervix, 31 are normal, 6 cervicitis unrelated to HPV, 20 with CIN I, 5 with CIN II, 2 with CIN III and 3 HPV infections. Among the independent variables studied, age, race, marital status, education, drinking habits, previous abortion, parity, menopause, pregnancy, vulvovaginitis, menarche and contraceptive method had p ? 0.05, and were not considered factores associated withcervical lesions. However, smoking habit, first sexual intercourse and number of sexual partners had p < 0.05, and were considered factors associated with cervical lesions HPV-induced. Conclusions: the smoking habit, first sexual intercourse under 15 years of age and the presence of more than 10 sexual partners are factors associated with premalignant lesions of cervical cancer. |
