| Abstract | The improvement competitive allows companies, specially SMEs, successfully position in the national and international market. It is a common situation, in these organizations, not having a clear mechanism that allows them to evaluate their competitiveness degree and, also, not having the way to define an appropriate strategy to improve it. Usually, SMEs propose the increased competitiveness through the acquisition of new machinery with better level of technology. Although this allows the growth productivity, not always reflected in a competitive improvement, which is a more complex and comprehensive criterion. In this way, the competitiveness of companies can be evaluated from the added value achieved on the product or service marketed and the trade balance or gross profit. The relation between the added value and the cost of the human recourses generates, among others suggested in the present work, a comparable indicator with those in firms from the same economic sector, either nationally and internationally. The objective of this study is to determine the competitiveness level of some firms in the influence area of National University of Lomas de Zamora, regarding the national and international sector average, using the Vector of Competitiveness, the Weighted Factor of Competitiveness and others agent of productivity. Is expected to propose some strategies and tools to enable the companies to improve their competitive level. |
