| Abstract | According to a systemic analysis of the global burden of disease (2015), the population’s exposure to smoking decreased in many countries, as well as globally. Moreover, global tobacco-attributable deaths and disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) continued to rise, to be the second most common cause of global DALYs [1]. Furthermore, smoking resulted in more than 7 million deaths worldwide annually, and smoking-related diseases claim more lives than HIV/ AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined [2]. Abstract |
