| Abstract | The purpose of this study was to develop Invention Program using appropriate technology based on real life and investigate the effect of the invention program in elementary school students. Among the appropriate technology examples, selected topics such as light, water, food storage, and clothing management (hygiene), which are frequently encountered in real life. Focusing on observing existing products and creating new ideas, we analyzed the change of invention attitude by applying a total of 8 sessions (16 times) of the invention education program. The results of this study are as follows. First, the results of the pre and post invention attitudes of the experimental group using invention program using appropriate technology based on real life were significant. Second, the changes of the pretest and posttreatment attitudes of the experiment group were found to be statistically significant among the three sub-factors: attitude of interest, cognitive attitude and attitude of practice except for emotional attitude. The results of the above study show that the program for invention education related to appropriate technology centered on real life materials positively affects the growth of elementary school students' invention attitude. In addition, It is expected that appropriate technology can contribute to the learner's ability to improve global citizenship. |
